Workstation stop working on Win XP computer after latest upgrades. Can not restart Workstation service.. Event Id 3113. Event Viewer no help. Network connection LAN Local Area Connection. OS Name Microsoft Windows XP ProfessionalVersion 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3 Build 2600Have check the sfc /scannow for error files .. none. Nothing obvious in the Register or Firewall. Wizard does not restart or repair Service either. Can not update IP address. Works fine on other computers running XP not upgraded. Search internet for answers, Seems like this problem has been around for awhile , but as usual, many complaints, all options, no solutions. Seem like this happened on the last update on every version of M$ for years. Another M$ plot to force users to upgrade. Any solutions would be appreciated. No I don't want to upgrade to Windows 7 for at least one year. 1 person needs an answerI do too
